Pulse diagnosis is one of four diagnostic pillars in Chinese medicine. It is derived from concepts of wholism where the parts represent the whole. The radial artery at the wrist is palpated and the observations are classified according to process and form. There are numerous models that provide information about systemic function. Some may give information about the acupuncture channel systems, others explore features such as circulating blood volume. It is a brilliant form of clinical assessment that is documented with 2,000 years of case studies and observations. There are many traditions of Chinese pulse diagnosis. They include sophisticated family traditions of Chinese Pulse diagnosis that allow for identifying conditions in the channel systems or the organs. These methods are used to identify the quality and location of certain kinds of disorders.

From the physical standpoint it is absolutely logical, because the pulse indeed reflects processes of chemical reactions proceeding in the body. Chemical reactions occur abruptly due to the principle of quantized energy states of chemical elements. The short time of biochemical reactions of absorption or release the energy creates shock microwaves of compression and expansion. As a result, the volume of the organism creates a stable interference lattice of traveling and standing waves, which are closely related to the processes of catabolism and anabolism of cells. Continuity and uniformity of such energy grid is the base and guarantee of synchronous operation of all body cells and it determines functional integrity of organism. This property is directly used in the energy correction of Chinese traditional medicine and homeopathy. Indirect impact on the energy grid of all other treatment methods is the sole reason to restore or lose the balance and health.

Pulse Metabolic Analysis (PMA) is a device to determine the uniformity of the energy grid of the 12 interconnected functional systems of the body (and associated with them organs), which are postulated by traditional Chinese medicine. The presence of just 12 functional systems is proved by the geometric construction of channels of energy transfer for an object in three-dimensional space (energy channels are edges of an elementary cube of space). Also in three-dimensional space of the sole vector of energy of functional system is decomposed into the five independent vectors (the theory of five elements in Chinese medicine). Thus, a complete and sufficient physical diagnosis of the living organism is defined by a matrix of 60 vectors (12 functional systems consisting of the five vectors).

In contrast to the subjective symptomatic diagnosis of western medicine and even partly of present Oriental Medicines, where the same symptom can be a manifestation of absolutely different physical states of the body, Pulse Metabolic Analysis (PMA) is completely objective. Moreover, PMA clearly presents a picture of physical condition of patient, even at those cases, where medicine makes idiopathic diagnosis, i.e. it demonstrate the powerless it's ability to put diagnosis at all.

Use of physical PMA diagnosis is predetermined by its structure - define vectore of system of 60 vectors should be changed. In Chinese medicine, such action is acupuncture correction by 60 Wu-Shu points, diet and herbs in accordance with the theory of five elements. The grouping of the vectors in pairs allows to build a model Ayurvedic tridosha and Tibetan constitutional types. It spread the the ability to use treatment modalities of almost all medicines. The possible ways of harmonization of the energy lattice may be also practice of meditation, chanting mantras, listening to special music, and sounds.

Additionally Pulse Academy has developed a method for energy lattice correction with help of the essential ions (the importance of these ions was proved by experiments of russian Dr. Samokhotsky). Essential ions - K , Na , Mg , Ca - should have the same concentration in the body like a sea water. The Chinese Five elements theory describes distribution of above mentioned ions and it is the one more sign indicating the universe principles introduced in Chinese Medicine and physical Pulse Metabolic Analysis..

We believe that the fundamental basis of Pulse Metabolic Analysis which introduce all modern physical knowledge and heritage of ancient Chinese civilizations, can take its rightful place in the arsenal of each doctor.
